People often ask why we decided to sell Precision in individual packets versus a bucket like some joint products. This is a great question and one we are excited to answer! There are a few reasons we package Precision Joint Solution individually the main reasons are, protection, dosing, freshness and ease in feeding.
The individual packets keep light, humidity and air out. One of Precision’s main ingredients is the Serrapeptase Enzymes. These enzymes are living organisms that must remain alive to do their job. Once they are exposed to outside air, they are only alive a few hours. This is why feeding shortly after opening your packets is best.
We have spent time figuring out exactly how much of our patent pending ingredients are needed to be the most effective for your horse. There is a specific amount of chelated minerals in each packet that helps all of the ingredients work together. The packets ensure your horse gets the correct same amount every time.
Each packet is sealed so there is no worry about any cross contamination. You don’t have to worry about spilling a month worth on the tack room floor or having small animals get into the bucket.
Ease of Feeding:
For horses who compete or large barns with multiple horses on the product, the packets really make feeding easy. We have also been told by some of our larger show barns that they individual packets are extremely convenient for when they are showing on the road.
Do you have any additional questions about why we use the packaging we do? Feel free to call us at 1-800-821-6921. We will be happy to answer any questions you might have!
The idea of single packets is to provide a consistent and precise dosage, plus to protect the contents from humidity, light and air exposure in order to guarantee freshness and stability.
