1. Hill work – Find a hill and make your horse work up and down the hill. Great for endurance and building the haunches!.
2. Caveletti work – Working your horse over raised poles helps with collection and extension.
3. Lateral Work – Side-passing, bending, circles, and serpentines are a great way to improve balance and build strength in the shoulders

4. Interval Training – Doing multiple horses followed by short rest periods can help build your horses endurance and muscle.
5. Go for a gallop – Gallops can improve your horses heart and lung function. They are also a great way to help a ring sour horse get a breath of fresh air!
