The FEI or the Federation Equestrian International is the governing body for international equestrian sports. As the governing body, the goals of the FEI are to protect the welfare of horses from doping as well as physical abuse. Doping or use of prohibited substances in show horses has been a hot topic for years that shows no signs of slowing down.
With Strict regulations in Europe and more and more organizations jumping on the anti-doping bandwagon, its time for horse owners and trainers to become more aware of what their horses are getting. Steroids and allergy medications that were once the norm to compete with are now no longer allowed around showing. To read the FEI’s Prohibited Substance List, click here!
The Precision Team is made up of competitive equestrians. Because of that, we have always been extremely particular about what goes into our products. Founder Cherie Hecht wanted a product that actually worked but was also legal for all equestrian associations. All of the ingredients for Precision Joint Solution as well as Precision EquiDerm (Don’t forget, its not only oral supplements that can be banned!) are approved by the FEI for competition use. This means our products can be used before, during and after all FEI competitions.
If you currently compete, check all of your products and supplements are safe to show on. To order Precision products, click here!
